The designs presented here were developed in collaboration with Kalil Studio, run by Michael Kalil who passed away in 1991. They were then, and continue to be, unique and ahead of their time. This has been affirmed by the purchase of the model and design and presentation drawings by the Museum of Modern Art in New York City for inclusion in their permanent design collection.

In addition to these designs, two papers have been authored by Mr. Bogdanffy-Kriegh. “Kalil Studio: Proportion and Meaning as Key Components in Space Station Design” presents the NASA design and concepts in detail while “Growth, Form and Proportion in Nature: Lessons for Human Habitation in Off Planet Environments” elaborates concepts presented in the first paper.
